The integration requires Open edX Olive release or later. The LTI Consumer XBlock must be installed and enabled at the platform level. If you're running an older version, contact us and we can help with the upgrade path.
No. Nudgis is hosted and managed by UbiCast on EU servers. You get your own private, branded instance. UbiCast handles infrastructure, SSL certificates, updates, and scaling. All you need is a DNS CNAME record pointing your chosen subdomain to UbiCast's infrastructure.
LTI 1.3 handles authentication automatically. When a learner clicks on a Nudgis video inside a course, their identity and role are securely passed via an OIDC/OAuth 2.0 handshake. Nudgis creates (or matches) the user account automatically - no separate login required. Instructors get editor permissions, learners get viewer access.

Yes. Both Abstract Technology (Berlin, Germany) and UbiCast (Paris, France) are EU-based companies. All data is hosted on EU infrastructure under EU law. Nudgis is fully GDPR-compliant and VPAT-accessible. PII sharing between systems is controlled via granular Django Admin settings and can be configured to share only the minimum required data.
