It's a fully functional Open edX instance hosted on our EU infrastructure, pre-loaded with sample courses and configured with admin access. It's the same codebase we deploy for production clients - just scoped for 30 days of evaluation with up to 50 learner accounts.
No. The sandbox is completely free with no payment information required. At the end of 30 days you can choose to upgrade to production or simply let the trial expire - no charge, no follow-up obligations.
Absolutely. Any courses, users, or configurations you create during the trial can be migrated directly to your production instance. We handle the full migration so nothing is lost.
All sandbox environments run on EU-based servers in Frankfurt, Germany, under German jurisdiction. GDPR compliance and a Data Processing Agreement are included as standard.
